These week’s training plan
One of the reasons for starting this blog was to create accountably for myself. I have a training plan that normally I’ve kept to myself. Whenver I fail to follow it, the only one that knows is me. So, I decided to take a tool from work and apply it to my training.
A plan of the week is just that: a plan for the week ahead. Next week, we’ll have a Planned versus Actual review where we compare what I did against what I planned. Hopefully, there will be no varience.
Plan for week commencing Monday 21 April 2014
Mon – Rest from running
Tues – 6-8k Hills at a 5 to 10 K pace
Weds – 5k at an easy pace
Thurs – 6.5k at a 5k pace
Fri – Rest from running
Sat – 5k at a 5k pace
Sun – 20k – Long Slow Run (LSR)
Ok, this is based on a plan I got off the internet. As a metric-taught child, I converted it from imerial which gives a few odd measures.
Time is against me tonight so I’ll leave off explanation of Hills and pace for another post.
Keep On Going folks,
