Oh how optimistic I was last week. After finally working my way through a motivational slump, I sprang back into my running and with a renewed optimism. Thanks to an injury, my plan got shot to hell.
My last post talks about my frustrations. So, let’s review last week and plan the next.
Planned vs Actual: Last week’s review
I like tables. They’re useful tool for simply explaining what I achieved last week against the planned. As we can see, not very much. Thanks to a sprained ankle. I took the week off running.
The run I did manage – on Tuesday – was actually better than it looks. City centre living has its benefits and drawbacks. The big drawback is having to wait at pedestrian crossings. That dragged my average pace down a bit. Otherwise, I was happy with that run.
Because of the injury, I’ve decided to recycle last week’s plan.
While it’s not been a great week for my running, this was because of the ‘stuff happens’ rule. This week will be better.
Keep on Going,
